My mom and I were discussing that same thing not long ago. If it isn't earthquakes, it is some other natural disaster. However, today I watched a special report by an expert who stated that there really has not been more strong earthquakes. it's only been that there have been strong earthquakes in populated areas so they get reported and most importantly noticed. I'm not convinced... the next thing you know the aliens will be landing...
