_vfp.DataToClip()? Sorry I couldn't make the correlation:) - BTW I yet to find a usage scenario for _vfp.DaTaToClip(). In its current form (and unlikely it would be corrected from now on) I prefer to do my own "datatoclip" (do you have an idea why it adds an extra tab? Probably a coding error).

Did you check the code in link? Actually it was written to demonstrate with even 'processing' VFP was faster than C# ( < sigh > that was true only when I wrote those routines during .Net 1.x days. Now the ball rolled over to .Net's benefit).
