There's no limitation to being to include the FPW or VFP report writers. From the VFP 5.0 Developer's Guide (page 361), "If you want the user to create custom reports, you can offer the user the ability to create new reports or modify existing reports with the Report Designer." It then goes on to show the code to allow this (MODIFY REPORT MYREPORT.FRX). The only thing I might add to it is the NOWAIT clause.
