>>>Wondering if anyone here bought an iPad & what they think of it...
>>
>>I pre-ordered the WiFi+3G, so I don't have mine yet. I went to the Apple store to play with it. It's AWESOME! I may buy another one, since I know my wife will always be hogging this one up.

>>I'm an iPhone user since day 1, and have upgraded on release day every time. I'm sure I will do the same with this product as well.
>>
>>Trust me, if you had one, you would love it. It is a no brainer. If you like computers, you'll like this thing, hands-down.

>But see that is the difference. I tested one a couple of days ago and I was not impressed for the $. I just have no desire to spend $ (and definitely not 500.00) for a tool that is really only good for browsing and email and running their silly apps - no matter how fancy or nice or intuitive the interface is. I don't get it. If you do, great. It obviously is a great fun toy for many. I have a friend who buys every single wonderful Apple gadget there is (which is how I manage to test them) and even buys other toys (like huge telescopes and cameras etc). I haven't been really impressed yet. I have to have real bang for my buck and the features or stuff have to be something I really want or need.
$500? I bought the big boy (64GB and 3G), which, with taxes added in, was $903.00 total.
903.00 !?!?!? What was I thinking?
I was thinking... "Man, do I need a second one of these since my wife will be hogging it up all the time?"
I'm going try just having 1 in the house and see if we can manage.
