Same problem duly noted here when testing my apps under Windows 7. I've long stored.jpg images in Firebird BLOB SUB_TYPE 1 (Text) columns, pulled them into cursoradapters as Memo fields, and set my image controls' pictureval to the column name. I've now put code in my image control subclass 'refresh' method to check OS(), and if it's Windows 7, COPY MEMO the column contents out to a file, change the control's .picture property to that file's path and name, and immediately erase it. Works OK but I'd sure rather not had to have done it.
