>Hopefully. The thing with Doc though, is that I don't think he's a mentor. He's a doer, and he teaches by example. He works harder than everybody and he doesn't fool around in the clubhouse or the dugout when he's on. He probably isn't going to physically mentor Hamels, but if Hamels watches Doc just going about doing his job and sees the results of his work ethic, then maybe he'll get some ideas.

Thank goodness they have that offense. Doc used to lose 1-0 and 2-1 games in Toronto. I used to wonder if the offense didn't get a bit complacent when Doc pitched. I mean, look at the guy's stats for last year. Started 32 games, 9 of them complete games, 2.79 era, and a record of only 17 and 10. Ridiculous!

I hated to see him go, but I'm really glad for him that he landed with a team that will actually give him a little help.
