Pro:
Obviously it would be easier to ask/answer questions specific to Silverlight.
Con:
Since Silverlight is (more or less) a subset of WPF, questions may be asked in a Silverlight category that would apply equally to WPF and might be better asked in the WPF category.
There were more items in my head when I started to write this reply, but they're gone now. Damn! Getting old and forgetful really sucks! <g>
Anyway, I think it would be useful to have a separate category, but perhaps just labeling the WPF category as WPF/Silverlight would be sufficient. Michel has said that adding categories is easy enough.
