I asked this because...

I still use VFP and still like it a lot. I know who helped me a lot getting where I am right now and I know who made the VFP community what it is so far.

but...

how many developers still care what happens in our community?

How long do you see this lifetime achievement award being relevant?

If VFP would be a prime development environment still highly considered by MS then I'd see this one winner a year lifetime achievement award a cool thing. But... I really don't see (I hope I'm wrong here) a VFP lifetime achievement award given past 2015 for example.

So why not give 5 per year. This way from 2010 to 2015 25 new recipients will have received the award.

Do those ideas make sense?
