I've installed many times on Windows 7. Our app in VFP9 passed the Win7 Compatible Logo Test, first time, no changes. Any problem you are having is due to issues that are not due to VFP9.

None of this is a criticism of what you are doing or not doing: sometimes it's good to know where to look for the solution to a problem.
