I don't know if I'm the only one that feels this way, but sometimes when I do get creative with VFP, I mean REALLY creative, to solve a particlur problem, I'm not sure if the solution I have come up with would stand up against scrutiny from other developers. This is in part due to not really having anything to base it on. (Although having this forum has been extremely helpful in giving me an idea about good structure, etc.)

There have been numerous times that I have completed a project for a client and looked back and thought, "Man, how did I ever come up with that idea". Sometimes this is a good thing, sometimes not. <g>

I agree that if we can share some of the 'good' implementations, maybe developers that are outside of our FoxPro circle might take note. Interestingly, I equate the FoxPro folks to how it was when I was in the Marine Corps. (Everyone thinks your a 'grunt' and dumb as a rock, yet we get the call when it's time to get it done! Also, FoxPro developers seem to share a tighter collective bond than other developers in other languages, which is the same way Marines look at each other. Hell, some of us even miss active duty... a little)

Just my 2 cents,
