Yes, I am doing a direct REPLACE. Perhaps *I* am missing something that I have overlooked. I am under the impression that a direct REPLACE is not possible in the table is being buffered. That way, the table is only updated with TABLEUPDATE(), with REVERT() being an option. Then again, I am relatively new to buffering.

Perhaps I can have force them to use post-it notes to keep track of their work, except that at some point they won't be able to see the screen.
