You are absolutely right - Fox has had many heroes over the years. It is a one-of-a-kind history that will probably never be matched.

Many have mentioned Dr. Dave, whom I should have included in my "Hall of Fame". I will never ever forget Dr. Dave running FoxPro 1.0 and dBase IV on two different machines, back in Toledo in 1989 - they were this little company in Perrysburg that punched big Ashton-Tate right in the mouth.
