DO you mean the .DCT memo file or the .FPT of another table? All memo files suffer from bloat because FoxPro does not recover unused space within the file. You can minimize it to some degree by looking at the SET BLOCKSIZE command which controls how FoxPro stores the data in the file and when it needs to move a growing memo to another location in the file.

>I do that but the DBC is not my real problem, it's actualy the memo files. The DBF files is only used for viewing, no adding, but the size for one or the other reason gets bigger and bigger.
