Caveat there Craig, I know you didn't speak for MM so thought I would throw this in. MM is not yet reported to be for VS2010 just yet although I think soon.

You can port your application from MM2.3 over to 3.6 and VS2008 but there may be some things you would want to sort out. Minor mostly.

>I can't speak specifically on MM.NET, but in general, yes. VS2010 (don't bother with 2008 at this point) supports multi-targetting. So, you can edit with VS2010 and target the .NET 2 runtime that shipped with VS2005.
