I typically just build then pick publish to publish the files locally to a directory where my project is called "Publish". Then the files can be copied or FTP to the web server virtual directory location. Yours is a Web Application Project so this will be pretty simple process.

Where are you going to publish this to? Do you have an internal web server or are you using a hosting site? I always just run the publish menu to get copies to a folder locally first then just ftp them to the web server which is typically a hosted site somewhere.
