I am converting some old dbase data (mid-late 90's) to VFP. Mostly goes okay. However, there are several cases where the dbase integer fields are misbehaving.

E.g.
brow fiel custno, name, street for street = "1377" yields a record with custno = 277
However, when I look directly for that custno
brow for custno = 277 the browse is empty.

I've tried zeroing the number, then re-entering. Doesn't work.

Most records don't present this problem.

Is there anything I can do to "wake up" that field?

Thanks.
