Hi Cyril,

this format could be used to add these information into an archive programm.
Some archives work with two files. The original file (tiff/jpg/pdf/etc) and an xml file with metadata for the archive db.
However, as most archives (that I know) use individual xml contructions, we do not use the xml export either in xfrx nor in cr. We create xmls individually for each supported archive system.

Another options could be, to display the XML with XSL definitions and display it in a browser.
