The folks from the Microsoft .NET Framework organization on the runtime CLR team within Microsoft’s Developer Division will be hosting a dinner meeting at Microsoft 4-6PM on May 5th.

They would like to talk to customers who can give them feedback on how we should evolve our runtime to better suit developer needs in the future. Especially interesting to them are developers who are opting to build client applications in Silverlight for the deployment ease but are struggling with the trade-off of not being able to access richer functionality offered by the .NET Framework or Win32, developers who like the productivity benefits of managed code but are choosing to write C/C++ or Java applications for performance reasons, and developers who’re building .NET applications today but make extensive use of P/Invokes to call into various Windows APIs.

Attendance at this dinner will be very limited so if you fit this profile and are interested in giving them your feedback please let me know.
