>>>4 cats? That makes you a cat man. And if anyone is wondering what you're up to, they're thinking:

>>I'm known in my neighbourhood as "The crazy old guy with the cats". At least, I should be. The neighbour kids come over to see the cats and pet them when they're outside. A never ending source of joy. And as I explained to them very clearly, the moment they stop being entertaining, they're history. So now they're all taking tap lessons.

Separated at birth.

When I was a kid (maybe 10 or 11 years old), a woman around the corner had a St. Barnyard named Peanuts. She also owned one of those small rubber footballs. She'd bring Peanuts out to the schoolyard, which in those days was covered in grass, and it was him vs us. There were anywhere from 4 to maybe 7 or 8 of us at any one time who formed Peanuts' whipping boys. He would get the football and try to run around in the schoolyard while it was our job to be run over by him. We used to tackle him (or try to) and he would put his head down and run through us. I remember he knocked my next door neighbour Joey about 3 feet in the air and about 6 feet back. I thought Peanuts killed him. It was some of the most fun we had as kids. I was truly broken up when, around 10 years later, I was talking to her and found out Peanuts had to be put down due to age and illness. Best dog I ever met.

But me, well, I'm really a cat guy. All my cats are ex strays. I lure them in with free food, then bind and gag them until Stockholm Syndrome kicks in.
