I can already use the ActiveX browser control, the question was whether it was linked to the version already installed on the PC, i.e. if I upgrade to IE8 would the ActiveX take on the same properties?

Also, is there anyway of resizing the main window so that the scroll bars aren't available. I don't want to have to make the viewing window big enough to cover all website screen sizes, I'd like the control to resize the text/images within the ActiveX rather than show browser bars.
