I'll look into this, if I'm 100% sure that no issues will arise then great I would prefer Win7, but I think I read some issues (minor ones if I recall) regarding running VFP (I'm using VFP 9) and Windows 7, so my fear is that I'm trying to fix a problem for my client and my computer is not behaving the way it's behaving for them b/c of the OS.

So XP under windows virtual machine means that the entire XP OS is installed also along with Windows 7 and this XP OS is identical to the ones that have XP machines?

So basically if there are any issues developing/testing under the Windows 7 environment, I could use the XP virtual machine and test it there? BUT how about the software/folders?, let's say I have a folder "C:\Develop\" (contains all my projects) under windows 7, if I go to the virtual machine can it see the "C:\Develop\" folder? All the software that I have under windows 7 has to be reinstalled under the virtual machine?
