VFP's uniqueness when it comes to SPEED is on its Rushmore Technology engine which can only be found on the Native VFP table. If using VFP only as a front-end and uses different databases, its already a different story. That's why some VFP folks are screaming in protest why MS is keeps on suggesting SQL Server coupled with ADO etc. to be the database on C/S applications?
