Frank,

Are you just opening the Login page or are you attempting to open the default.aspx page which then prompts for the login page before navigating to your opening (or default) page?

>>Hi,
>>
>>I've just gone through my first installation at a client's site. Running the application locally on the server works fine, however, when trying to access it from remote PCs on the network, they get th elogin page, but when they try to login th epage just refreshes and no message gets displayed.

>>The installation was done on a Windows Server 2008 server using SQL Server 2008 and MM .Net 3.5 (this is the evaluation version, I just bought 3.6, but did not want to move it to a new version at the same time that I was doing the install for them).

>>The server has Windows Firewall on (tried switching it off but that didn't help).
>>
>>Can anyone think of what could cause this and what I need to do to fix it?

>A little more info: if an invalid user id and password are entered, then the message that an Invalid User ID and Password have been entered gets displayed. So it looks like the application is running ok, but I can't explain why the users can't login from remote PCs
