I remember Cetin having problems with OLEDB / Ado and date or datetime fields.
I usually open vfp tables as native (if you have posted your reasons for preferring OLEDB I missed it)
or as ODBC if I don't need enhancements of >vfp6.
You might try a different access strategies or different provider to make SURE
you are not running against something basically wrong with OLEDB.
Large No. of fields can lead to problems if Wheretype is set to key and modified - but that does not apply here IIRC.
