Tommy, you've already received some good advice.

Remember that you're not just changing development tools, you're changing platforms as well.

I'm assuming you're in a multi-developer environment and that your staff will be doing most of the work (though you definitely want to go the mentoring route). Your team will need time to increase your internal knowledge base - this kind of intellectual development takes time.

As Craig mentioned, taking a piece of your application is a good way to start. Back around 2002-2003, I must have built a gozillion prototypes before I started to "get" it.

Also...not trying to be a salesman for the UT, but consider a PUTM membership. Here's why - there is literally a TON of good advice in the .NET forum from 2002 to the present on going from VFP to .NET. Being able to search that content will probably help you.
