>>I have problem with my old tables created with vfp5.0 and fpw2.6. Vfp6.0 refuse to open it and return this message: "Collating sequnce : "GENERAL" is not found". Is there anyone who knows something about "collating sequences" in vfp6.0? Is there some compatibilities bug in vfp6.0 ? I know most of you haven't problem with collating sequences or Code pages, but ...

>I read somewhere in UT that other people had this problem also and that General collating sequence is deleted from sequences supported by codepage 1250. But I don't remember exact date (sorry for such fuzzy message). I had simmilar problem with collating sequence 'polish' but in VFP6 BETA. Now I am waiting for commercial version with mixed filings cos I have different messages (that it is and that it is not). If you have commercial version could you check it in your copy of VFP6.
I have read a documentation (that is MSDN "help") and found that the following collation sequence options are available:
DUTCH Dutch
GENERAL English, French, German, Modern Spanish, Portuguese, and other Western European languages
GERMAN German phone book order
ICELAND Icelandic
MACHINE Machine
NORDAN Norwegian, Danish
SPANISH Traditional Spanish
SWEFIN Swedish, Finnish
UNIQWT Unique Weight
Some times ago I was using "SLOVAK" - this was closest match for our country.
