If you create a class bassed on another class, all controls in the original class are properties of the derived class. The VFP visual class editor will save only one row in the SCX (or VCX) file for your object: "a form, a grid and some buttons"
>Why is the Grid a property of the form ?
Is not a property of the form. Is a property of the parent class.
That is, if you create an object wich has several contained controls, you will further see in all your derived classes the contained controls as properties of the parent class.
