This is the same format (and case) that you'll find in the Regional Settings applet. A guess on my part, but if I were interested in knowing what the proper format codes were for this control, that's where I'd look.

This does give me an idea. Since Windows controls should reflect the user's settings, and since this information is available via the API, I might post something that demonstrates how to make this control adhere to those settings.
