And who is selling them this crap?
Hey, I bet you could find all kinds of people in the US who would believe it - except they'd probably emphasize making money for Haliburton as first motive with killing muslims only secondary. Everyone one is entitled to an opinion and the amount of knowledge seems to be inversely proportional to the passion of the conviction.
Odd that it never occurs to anyone that if the issue were a Crusade or a pretext for financial gain since the hijackers were predominantly Saudis it would have made sense to seize Saudi Arabia, hold Mecca hostage and take all the oil.
Likewise in Iraq, it would have been techinically feasible to seize the southern oil fields, carpet bomb everything else with no boots on the ground and cut a deal with the Kurds for the Mosul fields.
If the goal were to kill Muslims, given our technical capabilities we certainly did a wimpy job of it.
