It is good that SQL Server Dev can be run on Win7; most PCs come with Win7 today. And I plan to buy a least expensive desktop box from Dell or some other manuf. As far as 2, hard to be specific as I don't know what type of network and hardware the customer(s) will be using. But at least I want to have some feel for the speed of data retrieving (which is usually what people notice). Thank you for your input.
