If you've been working with one particular report, could you create a brand-new, fresh report with just a single textbox (freshly added, not copied from the old one), with your font, to see if it still has the problem? This would help rule out some weird problem with one particular report.

Another possibility is printer environment/driver info causing problems. In Tools...Options...Reports, make sure "Save printer environment" is unchecked.
