I was going to suggest contacting Doug Hennig, who I understand has considerable experience interfacing VFP with various accounting packages.
Then I remembered, he offers Stonefield Query, which is a reporting tool. Certain versions are preconfigured for popular accounting packages. Some versions of Sage are on the list:
http://www.stonefieldquery.com/Solutions.aspxI remember a couple of years back taking a look at it, it was impressive then and no doubt is even better today. I recommend taking a look at it yourself, rather than perhaps reinventing the wheel.
