I understand you are not very familiar with the SELECT - SQL command. The options can be a little confusing at first; for a start, you can issue the command CREATE QUERY. In the query designer, select some tables and fields, plus the conditions for joining tables if you need more than one table, and then look at the generated code, which you might copy to a program.
This is not a replacement for a thorough understanding of this command, but it is a convenient starting point.
