I hope you don't think I have a horse in this race. They are both tremendous pitchers. It bugs me when preferences devolve into one is great and you cheer against the other. We are lucky to have them both.

Mike, I cheer for Lincecum when he pitches against anyone except the Phils. He is a truly awesome pitcher, a true freak of nature. But in a game 7, I'd take Doc. As great as Lincecum is, Doc is just a tiny bit better.

I'll use a quote from a tennis match between Ivan Lendl and Mats Wilander in the '88 U.S. Open finals....Lendl's best weapon is his arm....Wilander's best weapon is his brain. Wilander was just a tiny bit better that day.

And I agree, we are extremely fortunate to have both.
