This past Saturday, I was at a music festival (merlefest.org) here in NC, and Steve Martin was the main attraction (with his banjo and new bluegrass CD). Anyway, I was just off stage about 20 feet from him and he had his iPad on his music stand (I guess with his notes of what he was gonna sing). Anyway, he showed it to the 20 or 30,000 people there and told some jokes about it.

Just thought it was funny he already had one, although I have to admit I had already thought that would be a good small device to replace sheet music or just words, etc.

As a side note, he is one tremendous musician (and funny to boot).
