Are you referring to the Social Security entitlement? The Medicare/Medicaid entitlement?

Both of them. They are unsustainable and bankrupting the country. I think they need to be phased out. Obviously, we cannot just tell people who are already on it "Too bad. You are on your own now." We also cannot completely cut off people who are close to the retirement age. Something like this could work:

If you are over 60, you will get 100% of your benefit.
If you are over 55 (which includes me), you will get 75% of your benefit.
If you are over 50, you will get 50% of your benefit.
If you are over 45, you will get 25% of your benefit.
If you are under 45, you are on your own and need to start investing for your retirement if you plan to retire.
