On a legacy app that runs on novell lan we have an odd problem that the text vanishes from the screens. The screen are written by .prgs. The background colors and button colors are fine and the text is being written because the window expands when there are more lines of text to display. The only solution currently is to reboot the DOS CPU. Recently some users are saying that the problem is not resolved by the reboot and I wonder if the color scheme is being saved in the config files, including the scheme, after the text is gone. The programs and the .dbf tables are on the novell server and are accessed by about 70 clients. This happens randomly on all the clients. TIA.
