I didn't say otherwise.

I said that the issue is that the people who are pissed are pissed because they're not being granted the same
rights as citizens. Personally I don't think most law abiding citizens would care being stopped and askled for Id if it help reduce the
illegal population, just like most law abiding citizens accept the enhanced security at the airport if it reduces/eliminates terrorism.

Like I said - the people up in arms are mostly the illegals and those associated with them. The law abiding citizens, the 70%, are
for the law because it's right & just.

If you sneak into a country, and are therefore a criminal, then you should expect to be questioned and arrested.
