Nope. I don't feel safer, just more inconvenienced. There was some good police work done last weekend after the failed Time Square attack but the guy still managed to get on a plane for Dubai (and then Pakistan). The plane had pulled away from the gate with him on it despite his being on the no fly list. I think it was Mayor Bloomberg who said we shouldn't be depending on luck as a homeland security strategy.
