Stars to Sergey then ???

>>>I was thinking that to solve this problem I need to find a way to create a bug or some code case where all menu items after a certain item get disappeared (without deliberately removing each item in code). If you can think of how to create this case, please let me know.

Not even the last item (Exit) is shown. I do have in my start up code that based on some preferences one or two of the menu items (on File) list are removed. But nobody else using this application has reported losing items. And this code has been working for a long time without a problem. And obviously I can't duplicate this "loss" of menu items on my PC.

>But the solution is much simpler. I just looked at the screen again and realized that he (the f...ning idiot) is looking not at the menu but at the toolbar (the application has the Outlook-type toolbar). When I talked to him on the phone I remember asking him many times, "Are you clicking on the File pull-down menu" and he would always say "Yes" but I bet he is looking at the toolbar and not menu. Because the last item on the toolbar is exactly the "last item" he was saying he would see. Sorry for wasting everybody's time.
