Thanks, for the reply, but I probably didn't explain myself cleary. I was hoping this could be done with 1 SQL statement. I wasn't using the variable to store anything in, it was just used as a filter. I would like to store the counted results of the 3 diffent tables, placed into 3 different fields in to a cursor. I hope this explains it better.
