Do you think there's a reason that Office 2010 comes in a 64 bit version?

I thought it was kind of odd that when I started the Office2010 64bit installer on one of my machines it came up and *recommended* I use the 32 bit version unless I *had* to use 64 bit. I'm trying to remember the wording - it seemed to be a general recommendation to use 32 bit instead of 64.
