>>The Hawks are keeping us on edge. They had the Canucks done, dead, a stake in their hearts, then blew the clincher at home. If Vancouver can come back to win games 6 and 7 as well, more power to them. Odd series -- the road team has won 4 games out of 5.

>>Equally interesting has been the Canadiens' run in the east. They took out the Caps in the first round and are a game away from taking out the Penguins in the second. They are the most storied franchise in hockey but I doubt many fans suspected this.

>Since the Wings went out like a bunch of sissies, I don't have a real favorite left in the running. I'd like to see the Hawks win more than any of the others at this point.

>I've always had a dislike for the Canadians (guess that is from the Bruins/Canadians rivalry back when I lived outside of Boston), but I fairly well despise the Pens so I'll root for the Habs in that series.

The Habs still have to win game 7 in Pittsburgh.

I have never had anything against Montreal. To me they are the classic hockey team. The day the Forum closed was the loss of a sports limb. I was a Bruins fan growing up, Orr and Esposito and that bunch, but they were upstarts. The Canadiens were the gold standard. And nationality had everything to do with it.
