Have you looked at VS2010? Seems that is where WPF/XAML comes of age. Prior to that, I'm right with you.

When WPF has full designer support and is as easy to use as winforms then I may jump ship. When it allows me to code faster I may jump ship. I see no value for WPF in line of business applications.
