>Let me tell you, using command line options can be dangerous. I used option /XD d:\$recycle.bin and it deleted all folders on the D drive. Good thing that this is a new PC and I can copy files again. So now I am doing ROBOCOPY without /MIR and it should simply copy files.
If you're using Robocopy interactively (rather than via a batch file, for instance) you could try a Robocopy GUI e.g.
