I just wanted to jump in on one small piece of this post. So what if VB just got ADO. Before ADO there was DAO, RDO, RDS and ODBC Direct. Different implementations basically the same functionality as ADO.
What does ADO (or any of the other technologies) have to do with being a good development tool ???
