>>>Hi,
>>>
>>>I am trying to run a VFP9 application .EXE on Win 7. The application is using a couple of DBITECH ActiveX (OCX). I registered these OCX files successfully (by copying them to folder c:\windows\syswow64 and executing regsvr32)
>>>
>>>But when I run the VFP9 exe I get error that a class is not registered pointing to the OCX control. I rebooted the PC but to no avail.

>>>Any suggestions? TIA.

>My dbi controls are very old (purchased in 1999). And I know they work on Windows 7 because I have a customer who uses the application. But maybe he is using 32 bit version of Windows 7 and mine Windows 7 is 64 bit. I will check the links you provided to see if it helps. Thank you.
It looks like I have no choice but to continue using my old notebook (XP Pro) for supporting VFP9 application and only do .NET work on the Windows 7 64. What a pain.
