I didn't say that. I said - because of some components I use - I cannot use 64-bit OS. Win 7 32-bit should work fine, hopefully.
>Why do you think you have to continue to use XP for VFP development? VFP works fine on Win7.

>>Hi Kevin,
>>Thank you for your input. The hard driver on this computer is 250 Gb 7200 RPM; the processor is T9550, 2.66 Ghz.
>>I may go with multi-OS booting. I read last night a message on one of MS forums a guy describing how he wanted to do exactly what I am trying, to go from Win 7 64-bit to Win 7 32-bit. When he attempted to start his PC (that had Win 7 64 running) with a Win 7 32 DVD, Windows asked him if he wanted to add another OS to his PC. So he ended up having both 64-bit and 32-bit OS on his PC. When he boots he can choose which OS to use. This could be what I will end up doing.

>>Regardless of all the possible settings and configurations you can play on Windows 7 VM, I am not going to use it for development. As I mentioned before, I will be using this PC for tons of VFP work where I will have to spend majority of my development time in VM. I might as well install XP on this PC for that matter (where I have an unopened copy of XP OS). But I want to move to Win 7 and continue working with VFP and Win 7 32-bit could be ideal for that.

>>Again, thank you.
