Part of being "Miss USA" is supposedly that the winner is going to be a "role model" for young girls and therefore the pageant rules disqualify any girls who have stuff in their past like being a stripper or anything else a bible-thumper wouldn't like. Personally I could care less. Plus like I said this is 2010 not 1950. Where exactly do they expect to find these girls? They going to start holding the contest at a convent with a bunch of nuns or something?
