In FF:
Tools->Options
Click on Main button (first on the left)
You will see "Save Files to"

Other way:
Just press Ctrl+J, Right click on the downloaded file and "Open Containing folder"


BTW that is why I prefer to set FF ALWAYS to ask me where it should download the file.
